Seatex was launched in Rosenberg, Texas in 1967 as an employee-owned business. We started out with the mission of earning the trust of those in the chemical industry by providing superior chemical blending and manufacturing services and operating with integrity in everything we do. We believe our success in that mission is the reason we’re still here, more than five decades later.
In fact, we’re bigger than we’ve ever been before. In recent years we’ve expanded into two new cutting-edge storage and blending facilities so that our customers can continue to rely on us for the toughest jobs for another 50 years and beyond.
Managing the quality of our products means more than just staying ISO 9001:2015 certified. Through complete batch testing, batch coding, and sample retention, we ensure your chemicals are produced just as you intended, from weight to purity to molecule size.
We understand the sanctity of your formulation is paramount. All of our employees operate under strict confidentiality agreements so that your proprietary information is safe-guarded at all times.
Seatex is proud to carry certifications for blending and packaging from the EPA, NSF, and UL, as well as being a kosher facility. We carry full product liability insurance and comply with OSHA SDS requirements (see below).
Our 510,000 square feet across three locations boasts multiple, load cell-equipped dry and liquid blenders that can handle hundreds of thousands of gallons per day, including flammable and combustible formulations. Products can be stored on-site or shipped via on-site rail or truck.
We are a charter member of Chemblend International, a five-company alliance of chemical manufacturers across America that produces high-quality products for the janitorial, food service, institutional, industrial, and consumer chemical markets in the U.S. and Canada.
We maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for detailed information on hazardous chemicals we manufacture, including their individual properties and best practices for handling them.
We’re proud to offer our customers service at multiple locations in South Texas, each with convenient access to both rail and shipping lines. We save companies significant costs by performing blending, packaging, and labeling all in-house, rather than paying to have these services done by third parties across the country.
